GüzTech is a local computer shop — not a waste hauler. Equipment that can be restored gets restored. What can't be refurbished is broken down for usable parts. Only what remains goes to recycling coordination.

What happens to the data on old drives?
We discuss this before pickup. Options include drive wiping, physical drive removal by you beforehand, or returning drives to you. We do not claim certified data destruction — if compliance documentation is required for your organization, please let us know and we'll discuss what's possible.
Is there a cost for pickup?
It depends on the equipment and quantity. Some loads are free to pick up; others may involve a small fee depending on condition and recycling costs. We'll be upfront about any fees before scheduling.
What if some of my equipment is still working?
Even better. Working equipment has the highest chance of being refurbished and reused rather than recycled. Let us know the condition when you submit your request.
How much equipment do you need for a pickup?
There's no hard minimum. We handle single items and large office cleanouts alike. Share what you have and we'll figure out the right approach.
Which areas do you serve?
We primarily serve Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and North Austin. If you're outside that range, reach out anyway — we may still be able to help or point you in the right direction.
